Research and development is the way of the future.
Our own product development department resides close to the design department
in order to develop innovative products and performance, as well as attend to current
projects through further and new developments.

The issue of structural engineering plays a substantial role even in the area of research and development. Through co-operation with numerous renowned testing institutes, material test institutes, external advisors and, last but not least, our long membership with the German professional association for constructive glass construction in Cologne, we are well informed about current research and development fundamentals and glass-construction development. We also play an important role in their creation and advancement. In our own hall on the premises, quality control and material tests are carried out. Thus, in-house pendulum-impact and falling-ball tests are possible.

Physical construction trials analysing technical radiation properties are carried out in a trial box on the lot and are checked and controlled online. Patents or utility models protect over thirty of our own inventions, which are the basis of our technical advancement.
