GM RAILING® All-Glass Railings
Glass has long been used as building material and a design element in architecture.
All-glass railings are still a challenge for every planner, architect or structural engineer -
to say nothing of construction and assembly.
Glas Marte has developed a completely
new solution for these special requirements.
-
The Principle All-Glass Railing GM RAILING
The railing series, GM RAILING ®, consists mainly of a sub-construction profile and
a glass-construction module.
Thus, the assembly can be optimally scheduled into the plan of the construction process.
The glass assembly itself usually occurs during the course of the finishing work.
The glass material and all visible surfaces are optimally protected against construction contaminants and damage in the final stage.
Through this approach and the construction principle, employee-safeguarding provisions have also been considered due to the fact that all work in the crash area is significantly reduced.
The prefabricated glass modules are mounted into the sub-construction profiles and bolted together with previously assembled head screws and/or special spacers.
This bolting allows for an optimal glass mounting and tolerance compensation on the upright height of approximately ± 2 cm.

Certification and testing
With regard to security, see for yourself, there are a large number of collaborators: Technical University of Dresden, University of Darmstadt and evidence according to the standards of technical rules for the use of safety barrier glazing (TRAV/Kat. – B).

Glass Fixation
Glass panels, using a mounting system for structural glass construction, provide a freedom when used for all-glass construction e.g. glass walls for wind protection or noise barriers and for information elements such as glass building management systems.
