Design using illuminated ceilings in the interior area. The fitting system
GM SOB was specially developed and patented for the application.
The optically reserved, toned-down architecture of
the 900 m² large area of laminated sheet glass/toughened safety glass/semi-tempered
glass imparts a special accentuation by using single, unpolished discs,
which, through their ability to reposition, result in an “alive”
facade picture. The glass sliders with an element height of approx. 3
metres have a weight of approx. 113 kg. The hanging, sliding system GM
TOPROLL 15/24 is suitable for glass thicknesses of 15 – 24 mm of
laminated sheet glass/toughened safety glass/semi-tempered glass with
quadruple foil.
Hohlstrasse,
Zürich, Switzerland
The sliding elements of the 2nd house facade are laminated sheet glass
out if 2 x 6 mm semi-tempered glass, whereby the external discs consist
of Parsol grey. The glass elements are adhered on all sides in an aluminium
frame profile (eloxal black, which are bolted over the corner connectors.
The frame construction is designed so that the aluminium profiles exhibit
a static function. The glazing is adhered with surface flush profiles.
