Bregenz is the small, state capital of Austria’s western-most region named Vorarlberg. Our homeland lies between Germany and Switzerland with no more than 10 kilometres separating our bordering neighbours.

We work where others make their vacation. Perhaps you know one of our well-known ski areas in the Bregenzerwald, Arlberg or Montafon. Summer and winter sports, as well as the numerous cultural possibilities like the Bregenzer Festspiele, the Bregenz art gallery and the Schubertiade make our “little land” so worth living in. However, tourism is not the only trade responsible for the positive economic development of our ambitious region. The middle-size trade and industrial companies with their enthusiastic employees also play a large role in the region’s success.

In the beginning, Glas Marte Bregenz was already active outside of the local area and now it has expanded into neighbouring countries. Today, even though we have business partners all over Europe, there is nothing more valuable to us than our homeland. If you visit us you will understand why.
