GM RAILING® is a success story: Glas Marte received another award at the 2023 Architects' Darling Awards in the “Fall Protection” category for its innovative glass railing system.

A CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT

Since 2011, Heinze GmbH has been presenting the coveted Architects’ Darling Awards to honor the “favorites of the construction industry.” This year, 200 brands and 24 product categories were put to the test. A total of 1,949 architects and designers from across Germany took part in the comprehensive multimedia survey and voted for their personal favorites.

FOCUS ON SAFETY AND INNOVATION

The “Fall Protection” category, in which Glas Marte received the bronze award, focuses on innovative solutions for the construction industry. The survey for this category is conducted every two years and is particularly relevant when it comes to safety and comfort aspects in the use of buildings.

 

GM RAILING® once again impressed with its design, quality, and craftsmanship. Glas Marte manufactures the frameless and postless glass railings in its own factory. The glass and profile form a solid connection that ensures a void-free and linear glass support. This prevents stress peaks. The modular design simplifies both the construction process and planning, which in turn enables quick and hassle-free installation. Glas Marte offers a wide range of systems to flexibly meet various structural requirements. The glass railings comply with DIN 18008-4 and are certified with the General Building Inspection Test Certificate (abP) or the General Building Inspection Approval (abZ).
