New insulating glass product overview

Our UNIGLAS® ISOLATING GLASS offers optimal thermal insulation as well as a wide range of additional functions. Depending on requirements, structures with sun and bird protection are possible. The challenge here is to reduce glass-related causes of bird collisions with façade glass without significantly impairing the thermal and sun protection properties.

We have therefore revised the entire UNIGLAS® insulating glass range and optimised it in terms of bird protection. The result: almost all types of insulating glass now have a reflection rate of 15 per cent or less. This low reflection rate is recommended by experts at the Sempach Bird Observatory, which means that our UNIGLAS®SUN sun protection glass, with a reflection rate of 12 per cent, is considered particularly effective.
