We would like to inform you about the data processing carried out by us in the context of your application:

1.     Data processing as part of the application process

We process your personal data as listed in the Appendix in order to carry out the application process with you and to ensure optimal staffing throughout our entire company.

We do this on the legal basis of our overriding legitimate interest in carrying out an efficient application process (Art 6 (1) lit f GDPR) and on the basis of the need to implement pre-contractual measures (Art 6 par. 1 lit b GDPR).

We collect this data as part of the application process either by you providing it to us (for example, by sending your CV by e-mail), or by collecting it ourselves (for example, by recording notes during the interview).

You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not wish to do so, we will not be able to carry out the application process with you.

2.     Transmission of your personal data

In the course of the application process, we will only transmit your data to internal recipients (employees of Glas Marte) – for example, to the department management responsible for the vacancy, to employees of the affected department or to the executive board.

3.     Storage duration

Your data will be kept by us for twelve months from the date of completion of an unsuccessful application process. It is possible to keep the data for up to 36 months, provided you have consented to this longer retention period. We obtain your consent to the retention of evidence in writing or by telephone as part of any rejection.

If your application is successful, we will keep your data collected in connection with the application process for as long as legal retention obligations exist or as long as any legal claims have not yet lapsed.

4.     Your rights in connection with personal data

Under applicable law, you are entitled, among other things (according to the prerequisites of applicable law), (I) to verify whether and what personal data we have stored about you and to obtain copies of such data, (II) to demand the correction, addition to or deletion of your personal data if it is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law, (III) to demand that we restrict the processing of your personal data, (IV) to object in certain circumstances to the processing of your personal data or to revoke any consent previously given for its processing, wherein such revocation does not affect the legality of the processing up until the revocation, (V) to demand data portability, (VI) to be informed of the identities of third parties to which your personal data are transmitted, and (VII) to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
