GM® GLASSICS-U

Architecturally attractive glass facade constructions are possible with the unique GM® GLASSICS-U: Since the U-channels are integrated on one side in the edge seal, the glass joints of the individual or adjacent insulating glass panes are executed flush; only glass can be seen. Regardless of the requirements for the insulating glass pane in terms of building physics, GLASSICS-U can be freely combined with all types of UNIGLAS ® insulating glass.

Technology:

GM® GLASSICS-U is a fastening system integrated in the edge seal for double or triple insulating glazing. The insulating glass units with stainless steel retaining claws fitted by the customer are screwed directly to the supporting metal construction by means of U-channels inserted into the edge seal in the factory. The GM® GLASSICS-U edge seal absorbs all external loads on the insulating glass and safely dissipates them into the load-bearing construction.
