All job vacancies are listed in the careers section on our website. By clicking the corresponding image, you will find the detailed job profile with all further information about the job, the tasks and the required profile. In addition, the responsible contact person from the Personnel and Organisation Department is indicated.

 

Are the job vacancies on the website always up-to-date?

Yes, our job overview is constantly updated and is therefore always up-to-date. Of course, it is possible that we have already decided on a candidate, but the contract has not yet been signed. The job remains on the website until it is signed.

What documents should my application include?

Please send us everything you have at your disposal. In any case, an up-to-date CV as well as your letters of reference and educational certificates. Of course, we would also be pleased to receive a meaningful letter of motivation.

If possible, please summarise all documents in one file (pdf) and send them to us.

 

Can I also submit an unsolicited application?

Of course! Just tell us your desired position and your ideas – we will process your application accordingly and get back to you.

Is there an application deadline to be observed?

No. As long as the job vacancies are published on our website, we look forward to receiving your application. However, in order for us to be able to include you in the selection process at an early stage, you should not hesitate too long.

 

Can I apply for multiple positions at the same time?

Please decide in advance which position suits you best. If there really is more than one suitable job, you can of course apply several times and indicate and justify this in your motivation letter.

 

When will I receive feedback on my application?

We want to complete application processes as quickly as possible! Of course, we examine all our applicants' documents very carefully and consult with the relevant department. Our applicants will receive initial information about their application no later than one week after receipt of the application. Should the application process be delayed, an interim notification will be sent to the applicants.

 

How does the interview proceed?

If you are invited to an interview, a member of staff from the Personnel and Organisation Department will contact you by phone and make an appointment with you.

The interviews take place either in person at our company or by video conference. In any case, an employee from the Personnel and Organisation Department and the head of the respective department will be present.

Usually we introduce you to the Glas Marte company and the respective department at the beginning. After that, as usual, you will be asked questions about your CV, skills and goals. Prepare for the interview and just be yourself!

Finally, we usually talk about the content and task profile of the position to be filled, so that you can get a good picture.

 

How is the daily working time organised at Glas Marte?

In the office we basically have flexible working hours. We will explain the exact rules during the application process. Of course, the times when you should be reachable also depend on your tasks.

In production and workshops, we mostly work shifts, but sometimes also with a time of day model. Normally, this is described in the specific job vacancy advert. Otherwise, you will be given the exact information during the application process.

 

Are there also special social benefits or other benefits at Glas Marte?

Naturally! We offer our employees many social and other benefits. These include, for example, lunch in the company, subsidised by Glas Marte. Of course there are education and training opportunities, as well as bonuses, subsidies for long journeys to work or health promotion such as vaccination campaigns, eye tests and non-smoking campaigns.

There is a mentoring program for new employees, which makes starting at the company easier.

Of course we treat your application confidentially! We comply with the applicable data protection regulations.

 

Is my data secure?

By submitting your application, you agree that the data you voluntarily submit will be stored and processed by Glas Marte GmbH for recruitment purposes and within the meaning of the GDPR.

As an applicant, you have the right at any time to information about and rectification or deletion of the data stored in relation to you. You can find important information about data protection here .

 

Will my application be kept on file?

If a profile basically matches our requirements – but there is currently no appropriate position available – we are happy to keep these applications on file in accordance with the applicable data protection guidelines. In this case, we will obtain the consent of the candidates. The declaration of consent can of course be revoked at any time. In the event of an unsuccessful application or rejection by the applicants, your data will automatically be deleted from our database.

 

Who can I contact if I am interested in a taster day or an apprenticeship as a glass construction technician?

The taster day gives you a great insight into our company and the glass construction technology apprenticeship. You can find out more on our website and apply directly for a taster day or apprenticeship.

 

Are holiday jobs available at Glas Marte?

Yes, there are. However, only in the production and workshop areas, unfortunately not in the office. Holiday jobbers usually work shifts at our company. Therefore, the minimum age for holiday jobbers at Glas Marte is 16 years.

Until when do I have to apply for a holiday job?

The application should be received by the end of February at the latest. The holiday jobs are allocated every year by about the end of April.

 

Is there a dress code?

No, there is no dress code at Glas Marte. This also applies to the job interview – just come to the interview as you feel comfortable.

 

Does the informal culture already apply in the interview?

It is true that we cultivate an informal culture in the company. In the interview, however, we usually speak in a formal manner to show our respect. If the situation allows or an applicant would prefer to talk to us informally, we are very happy to do so!
