Description
GM SOLAR is a versatile aluminium clamping profile for roof glazing, façade glazing and photovoltaic systems. Available in four profile widths, the system is particularly suitable for timber and steel substructures and can be used with a wide range of construction depths.
The slim profile design enables clean, functional glass constructions while providing secure support for single glazing, insulating glass and photovoltaic glazing.
Easy installation:
Installation is quick and straightforward. First, the protective EPDM profile is positioned on the substructure. The glass is then placed in position, the pressure plate is screwed on from the outside and the cover profile is attached.
This efficient installation principle makes GM SOLAR suitable for a wide range of exterior glass applications, including roof glazing, façades and canopies.
Ideal for photovoltaic glazing:
GM SOLAR is also particularly suitable for PV glass and building-integrated photovoltaic applications. The slim clamping profiles minimise the covered glass area, helping to maximise the active photovoltaic surface and support a high energy yield.
